first of the Proxxon items to be featured in Klingspor's
Woodworking Shop, the Detail Sander is a small yet
efficient tool for very tight spots, corners, sides, and normally
inaccessible areas. This premium sander utilizes
the most popular and most efficient oscillating motion to
give the best possible results. A variable speed control
from 3000 oscillations per minute to 10,000 oscillations
per minute lets you select the proper speed for use on
numerous different materials. The actual sanding area of
the Proxxon Detail Sander is smaller than that of most of
the other detail sanders on the market so you'll be able
to get into tighter areas, smaller corners, etc. With the
available accessories, the versatility of the Proxxon Detail
Sander will amaze you - add this to your list of must-haves
for your sanding and finishing.
Here's a multi-purpose tool that will raise a few eyebrows!
This slim line machine features a die-cast head and
machined bearings for a lifetime of performance. It can be
used for prolonged periods for drilling, grinding, polishing,
cleaning, cutting, and engraving - unlike many similar tools
out there can only be used for short bursts of use. This is
a high speed machine with a specially balanced motor that
has an infinitely variable electronic speed control for speeds
from 5000 rpm to 20,000 rpm. Six triple-slit steel collets
come with this unit and allow the flexibility to use a variety
of drilling/grinding/cutting attachments from manufacturers
everywhere. Also included are 34 bits and cutters. Among
the items included are 21 cutting wheels, 4 grinding discs, 4
burrs, 4 mounted points, and a wire brush wheel.
This is the most detailed of the detail sanders. The Proxxon
Pen Sander produces 8000, 2.5mm linear strokes per
minute. It's ideal for surfaces, slots and tight corners. It's
an excellent tool for model makers, carvers, furniture refinishers
and makers alike. The tool comes with 8 attachments
and 45 pre-cut pieces of sandpaper.
